Passing on some sad news for our group.
With great sadness I learned from facebook this morning that the lovely Joanne passed away August 7th.
My condolences to all her family, I have so enjoyed sharing sewing talk with her. Best wishes and strength to her family.

How sad, I've always enjoyed her comments and wit. She was an exceptional person and good sewing friend to all. My condolences and prayers to her family. Juno
It was so very sad to wake up and see that on Facebook. I will miss her sharp wit and quick humor. She was a joy. I only wish I could have met her in person to give her a hug around the neck.

I knew Joanne (better known here as Pogonip) had some pretty severe health issues in the past few months, I had no idea she was so close to death. I will miss her terribly, she made me laugh, and that is such a rare and precious trait.

Oh, I do hate to read this and the name Pogonip does ring a bell. I was trying early in the day to remember who Joanne was. This makes me sad indeed and thanks for posting the information.
