Need RCTY Collective Wisdom

Hi Everyone

I've just finished the body of a baby blanket for a gift. All that's left is a lacey mesh/v-stitch border. I need your collective wisdom....if you' d care to have a look at the photo here:

tell me whether you'd do the border in the yellow or themulticolour. I'm leaning toward the multi just because I have more ofit. I'm also planning matching hats (one yellow with multi trim andthe other multi with yellow trim). I don't know the gender of the babybut I think the multi has enough green and yellow in it to do foreither.

Thank you!

Michelle

First vote in: multi. Very nice, btw! Hugs, Noreen

Hi Judy

Thank you! And your vote's noted too :)

Michelle

Hi Hesira

And thank you too!

Looks like it'll be the multi, but I'll finish the first hat and then check back for final voting later this evening :)

Well, then, it looks unanimous. Multi it is!

The first hat is done; yellow swirl hat with multi hem. Rather cute little thing :)

Off to start the blanket border.

Thanks everyone!

I'll jump on the multi bandwagon too because it would better "frame" the afghan.

Yup, you're right!

Thanks!

Michelle

Well, obviously I missed this post, because I just commented on the finished product. If this helps, I think that it looks perfect the way you did it.

Why, thank you! I don't usually get near 'perfect' LOL

Michelle that is an easy one, I would use the multi coloured blue. One because I love blue, two, because it think it will give a nice contrast. Let us know what you are going to do, it looks very nice.

OH, I dunno, I've seen a fair bit of your work now, and it looks good to me!

That's the whole 'galloping horse' thing :)

Michelle

LOL Just call me "Trigger".
