Nope, not Cher or Nora at all. The spammer knows who she is, and she is or at least WAS in a moderator role there. Noreen

No, Cher and Nora are not spammers. I left the yahoo group precisely because of you, I've never made a secret of it. Glad YOUR true colours, referring to ME as the fool, BUT being a sarcasticly meant "lovely person" are here for everyone to see. You ARE the spammer. My ISP has the proof that the virus attached spam I recieved daily for two months came from you, or someone using your computer. While I can and have forgiven, I will NEVER forget. Noreen

Are you sure it wasn't one of those things with forged headers so it appeared to come from someone else?

Sometimes people have no idea they have a computer virus.

Nope, it was her ISP #. MY own ISP tracked it TO her or her computer. Noreen

True, but this was maliciously repeatedly sent daily for two months, right after I pointed out here at RCTY that if I said WHITE, she and one other would say BLACK, if I said BLUE, she and same other would say GREEN, etc. It was exasperating, nothing I could post was left alone, always disputed by those two people no matter what I said or wrote. I'm surprised they didn't dispute my own DH's name! LOL! Noreen

Well Noreen - here's something I want you to know. And I'm NOT ACCUSING you of doing it - but here's what happened to me today. I clicked on your I.D. on Ravelry, then clicked on your last blog post in your notebook. Right after I did that, my virus checker (Zone Alarm Security Suite), advised me of a virus it stopped on my computer called Trojan-Downloader.JS.Agent.nw. Not only that, after clicking on your blog entry, I was diverted to something called "trufelsite.com", and my computer froze up.

I shut it down, restarted it, then deleted the viruses that had been quarantined, and Googled the "trufelsite.com". It appears to be some kind of bad site, but I don't want to know anything more than that. This all tells me that there must be something up with your blog and/or computer and you should check into it. Needless to say, I won't be trying to read your blog again. I'm just glad I have good security on my computer.

Mirjam There IS proof that one of the moderators at the yahoo group spammed me maliciously, continually, daily for two plus months. My ISP traced it directly to her or her computer. Since all evidence had been turned over to my ISP way back then, I no longer am in ownership OF said evidence. I do NOT owe this spammer any such apology. :D Noreen

Shillelagh. . . /slash/ Shelagh!!

The trufelsite thing is NOT from me or my computer. It was maliciously placed there by comment spammers. My hosts have traced it to the source, apparently somewhere in Malaysia. I'm working on getting rid of it. Noreen

I didn't say it was, but it must have been on your blog, and it infected me.

Anyone else reading this - get a good virus checker, and keep it up to date! And I can vouch for Zone Alarm Security Suite. It's inexpensive and it WORKS.
