That is amazing! DOn't the police ever advise people to stay off the roads during blizzards?

No, I cannot remember that has happened other places than in mountains, AND if it is has been extremely bad some places. But our country is long, and some places people has long way to work and school, and there I think the situation is not that easy. The only reason is, if we have to shut down the school in lack of electricity and heat, I remember we had to leave school after 3 lessons once... but the teachers... we found another place to stay...LOL! I think we have trucks doing the "clean up" well, but as "the ecomomy" is decreasing, the work is not so good any more. We might be delayed for job, the children LOVE that ("something is happening!"), but I cannot remember that we have been home because of any snow or storm. We keep the children indoor between the lessons, of course ;-)))) AUD ;-)

I can see that being potentially dangerous for the children. But I guess that there have been no accidents.
