Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!



Some fun news to report....I will be doing demos at Frantz Art Glass this saturday! If you happen to be in the Washington area, come on by and have some cookies (Mike had them specially made for us!) and watch me make a bead or two. I am going to try and be there all day. Frantz is in Shelton, WA. Here's the website for directions:

I am also in the process of setting up some workshops at Frantz, where I will be teaching some intermediate beadmaking. It's all still very tentative at this point, but I will announce it here as soon as I have more concrete news. I have updated the Tips & Tricks area with a new page for people looking to begin lampworking.

That is so cool! Wish I was close enough to drop by. Every now and then I wish I was back living in Puyallup - then I'd get to go to these fun events in Western Washington

The demo went really well. I was the only one doing demos until Corina showed up unexpectedly and took over. But I demoed for about 5 hours or so, and it was a lot of fun. A couple of people from one of the lampwork forums showed up and we went out to dinner afterwards and had a blast! I am hoping that I will be able to do this again sometime.

No news on classes yet - I am still waiting for the coordinator at Frantz to get back to me on dates. :)
