Now, there's a man that needs to hide from the Dairy Association! Very interesting reading. At least I thought so. And some of you with health problems might understand it. I still don't think I can give up milk in coffee even after reading through most of it.

When I tried it seemed to take a long time to do nothing, just waiting for the site to respond. It could be this end were the problem is, I'm swapping over to a different computer which has Mozilla as it's browser - I don't know if it's fully set up yet.

I do if I remember to, in particular if he hasn't fed particularly well from the second side.

I'll have to check my info, I think the 9 month bit is about mixing cows milk with the rice cereal to feed, maybe. DS won't be an only child, I want them reasonably close in age but I still want to give my body a chance to fully recover and a chance for me to get some fitness back before the next one (last one). I was considering a difference of about

2 years. I don't think I could handle 2 years, 12 months is probably my limit. Yes I know it's only supplementing solids at that age, but if he wants to be weaned earlier I won't force him not to. Does that last bit make sense to anybody but me?

well, i didn't have time to go through the whole site, but he's probably quite correct. the US is the only culture *i think* where adults drink milk. and in many, many cultures, they don't drink cow's milk at all. all those goats in the Middle East and Europe? goat's milk is digestible by ANY mammal. cow's milk is not. many, many allergy problems and ear infections can be traced back to milk allergies.

I went out to the range a fortnight ago for some practice and had no trouble with them, most of the muscle difference came from when I was a junior shooting Olympic style matches (pistols), I've swapped over to silhouette were I have more fun (people are frinedlier) and I'm better at it (made the state team). Silhouette uses different positions, standing can be done with 2 hands, creedmore is lying down, the Olympic style is standing using one hand.

What about belly dancing, wearing baladi(sp?) dresses or tribal skirts and tops?

Same here... I think I "learned" that because I really couldn't see details well enough until somebody got up into conversational distance. Or, maybe, I'm just a lizard.... Kaytee "Simplexities" on

That's how I am with "pink" and "frills"-- pink clothes, pink jewelry, pink whatever. I really like working with rhodochrosite-- but once something is finished, I have no interest in it. I've bought and made pink and/or frilly clothes because they were "so pretty", but they stayed on the hanger unless I forced myself to wear them. Luckily, my mother LOVES pink... and is about the same size I am.... Kaytee "Simplexities" on

actually - stay away from cow's milk as LONG AS POSSIBLE

there has been recent AMA acknowledgment of the link between cow's milk at a young age - and diabetes.

Use goat's milk instead if you need a milk supplement.... Cheryl of DRAGON BEADS Flameworked beads and glass

I think you're right about that. There's just no way to use that phrase

*without* sounding contemptuous and dismissive of the other person's feelings, whether that's what you mean or not.

I'm there with you -- do you dance tribal or caberate? My teacher dances caberate when she performs but teaches a mixed style. She's Indian, so she's also influenced by the traditional Indian style of dance, too.

SECONDED! i wish the Dairy Goat Assn had a fraction of money for advertising that the "Dairy Council" does!

and if you need goat's milk - call your local "farm association" and get the number for a local person to get it from - - that stuff in the grocery stores can be nasty!

I breastfed both of my boys. One for a year and one for 16 mos. It's soooo much easier! And the diapers are so much nicer to change than with formula! I also used cloth diapers....am I a glutton for punishment? It just didn't seem right to destroy all those trees ....
