DSon Chris called last night with news.DDil Aya's Mom is nearing death. After many long months in the hospital it appears her systems are shutting down. Chris and Ayako will have to go to Japan, as soon as there is confirmation by the Red Cross, probably before the weekend.
I will have to go get the boys from San Diego and bring them to NH as soon as temporary custody papers are drawn up. Tentatively, plans call for DSis Jenna and DB Dan to watch the boys while Tony and I are at work during the day.
It goes without saying that Aya is very distraught and I ache to hold her in my arms. The little ones will probably take it all in stride. Chris is trying very hard to get things done and in order to be able to make this all happen.
