Annual RCTQ Quilting Week!

Is it that time already? It seems to have snuck up on me... no reminders at all...

Woo Hoo! My very favorite week here in RCTQland. I know I'll be working on my sewing room. Will report in on my progress.

Perfect timing. My DH will be away all week at school for his new job and I will be in dire need of company. :)

Problems with my newsreader forced me to post thru google. I hate google, so I don't post much. Still here... if not here, then in Azeroth. ;-D

I obey, my Queen, and will put aside my baby quilts charity work for a short break and start some applique I've been itching to try. The Count and I finished fifty labels tonight for the charity quilts...whew!! Nancycog in MD, Countess of Chocolate Chip Cookies

Excellent! This is my first experience of UAQW....and I intend to make it an annual event. I need a lift right now and intend to get down to really quilting, not just dithering through quilt magazines and whining about not being able to decide what to do. LOL. I don't know who came up with this idea, but obviously she (or they) is (are?) of the genius persuasion. :)

Happily preparing, Sunny

My daughter is in La Plata, in Charles County. If she decides to stay in the area, we are considering the area for retirement.

I drive through La Plata on the way to "The Farm" (ie DH's parents house) and think of you every time I see the La Plata sign Linda!

Yes, Nana, we need to do a meet up. I think sometime this summer we need to gather everyone together and do a little shop hop or something! Maybe in early May when the weather is starting to warm up.... So start making your plan Larisa and let us know what your availability is! (We have a few months until then, so maybe we'll discuss this again in a few months?)
