new here

HI, I just thought that I would introduce myself. I just started my gmail account and am looking for a friendly group to make friends in. I have been quilting 11 years off and on. I live in a rural area in Oklahoma so don't get to visit very much.

HI~! and WELCOME!

We're glad you found us...

So tell us more about you?

What kind of quilting do you like to do? Traditional pieced? applique? art? Do you have an online photo gallery of your quilts? Do you have a family? any kids? grandkids? or QI (aka quilt inspectors... the 4 legged kind of family members) What is your favorite kind of chocolate?

and most importantly... where is your stash? and is it heavily guarded? LOL

Welcome Myra. We do have another friend here from rural Oklahoma - Christina; but she is usually 'absent' during the summer due to all the work she does in her garden: growing veggies and such. I'm sure you'll find plenty of topics here to interest you. . In message , myraw writes

You'll sure get to visit a lot here! We love quilts, quilters, quilting, quilt shows, quilt shops, quilt supplies, you name it. We also love all kind of non quilting stuff, and you'll find that we'll talk about just about anything. Those messages start with OT for off topic. Then we also have all kinds of in between messages that talk about chocolate, pets, shopping, and it all gets mixed in with quilting somehow. So just jump right in. Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard! (Hear me singing something about the Quilt Train to the tune of Love Train. At least I think that's the right song.)
