Prayers....

Feb 25, 2010 14 Replies

I just received the most horrible news. One of our neighbors has a yellow lab who often sneaks out to come and play with Samson and Jasmine. They live down around the corner -- and I got to know them because when Quinn came to play -- the daughters would walk down to collect him. They are the sweetest, kindest, cutest little girls I've had the pleasure to know.

The news is that their sweet 7 year old daughter was just diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme -- a very aggressive form of brain cancer with a very poor prognosis.

Please add little Ellie to your prayers. Also include 12 year old sister, Kate and Mom and Dad. I can't begin to comprehend the hell they find themselves in.

Golly. I was just SO annoyed that I can't find where I put the cord for charging my camera for the quilt show. Your news sure does put my little inconvenience in perspective. Not very important now. So sorry, Kate. So very sorry. We promise our prayers. Polly

I will keep little Ellie, Kate, and parents in my thoughts.

Oh what sad, sad news. Good thoughts and prayers from Missouri are headed that way.

I'm so sorry, Kate... Thoughts and prayers on their way from Indiana.

I doubt much can be worse than having a child with the big C. Prayers for the whole family going up. Donna

How very sad for everyone. If there cannot be a good outcome, please God the little one won't have to suffer too long. But, miracles have been known to happen? . In message , Kate in MI writes
