Disappointed and frustrated with using Sidekick

You may recall several weeks back when I excitedly confessed to and posted about my stealth shopping where I bought a Sizzix Sidekick and an alphabet font set. Well, I finally sat down this weekend to do a page or two of scrapping and broke out my sidekick. I discovered I really dislike using the thing. For me the task of cutting out the letters is TEDIOUS. I hate having to cut the paper before being able to cut the dies out and have decided I'm going to return it to Michael's. :-( I'm glad I kept the receipt. I'll just continue to use alphabet stamps and stickers instead of having a Sidekick. I think I can make/purchase individual die cuts at the Craft & Floral Warehouse store near my home and will just drive there when I'm in the mood for or feel I must have alphabet die cuts. I'm disappointed and frustrated because I imagined I would LOVE having the thing.

Thanks for the info Dave! I was sold when you compared it to a beetle! LOL! I'll keep an eye out for it here in SA!
