Finally some positive news on Jessie!

I just got this from Matt today and thought I'd share:

- - - -- - - - - - - - - - - -- Hi, thought I catch you up on what I've heard about Jessie in the past weeks. Patti told Danielle that Harol made a trip up to KY to see Jessie. It sounded like Jessie was elated to see him, she attempted to smile. As you may be aware she is receiving physical therapy now, her left side appears to be paralyzed.

Danielle was also told that Jessie is trying to communicate, she was given some paper and a pencil or pen, and she wrote her name. Patti has got her more paper and also a small white board to write on.

If Jessie can write her name, I will guess that she would really appreciate more cards from us. Anyone up to it?

Wow, that is awesome news! I just can't even imagine what she must be going through. Her brain is working along it seems, but the body is not cooperating. That must be so frustrating. I'd love to send her another card, can you email me her current address? I seem to have misplaced it. Thanks in advance, Arleen

Thanks for keeping us up to date! Wow, I am so happy to hear she is making progress - slowly but surely.

You know what they say though - the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...so she's got a wa to go, but she'll make it one step at a time. :)

I'll be adding her to my Xmas card list too,

Jessica
