Today we are snowed in. We are in the middle of a blizzard right now. We have 40 mile winds. Already gotten 12 inches of snow and are expecting another 5-6. My DH has been gone since 7:00 this morning working on everyone's snowblowers and blows. He's even been pushing snow. He's now for sure if he can make it home tonight. We are right out in the middle of the country. Probably won't see snowplows till tomorrow night. BRRRRRR it's cold.

So I have been scrapping. Not as much as I like but hey I'm working on it. The problem is, my scrapbook room is in the basement. I didn't want to spend the day down there when I could watch it snow upstairs. So I brought a huge stack of pictures of stairs to crop them out and sort to do my LO's this evening.

Well, hope everyone is having a good evening. I guess I need to feed the kids. I'm surprised they haven't complained yet.

The snow is suppose to head our way here in NY soon. I'm looking forward to a snow day tomorow. I haven't been happy at work lately so I could use a day off. Plus I want it to snow so I can play in the snow with Buddy (our dog). Our baby (buddy) is going to be a year old alreday on the 28th :(

Well, we've only had about 8 inches with it still coming down. They're saying 18 inches by the time we're done. Kids were out of school today, but since I work for myself and my clients are all over, I still worked as usual. Thank God my parents are 3 blocks away and don't usually mind babysitting.

I've probably asked before, but what general area of Indiana are you in, Shannon? Since I went to Ball State (Muncie), I've got friends all over the state. Just wondering which of them I need to worry about.

Hope your hubby makes it home safely!

Hope you guys keep safe and sound indoors!

Well he called and he won't be home until tomorrow afternoon probably. He's staying at the guys house he's been working for. Getting some sleep then up at 12:30 am to start again.

I'm in Lafayette. Purdue Country!!!!

NY is getting it too. We had our first snow day tody. The snow has stopped but the wind ie blowing and its cold. Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Wow Shannon! I hope your DH gets home safe. Glad to hear your getting some scrapping done! :-) Dont you just love to watch it snow!? This blizzard is something else! We havent had this much snow in YEARS. I think we got somewhere around 10" but the drifting is so bad it seems like more. Our plows didn't come through until last night or early this morning. The roads were blowing shut as fast as the plows were plowing it! Luckily I am off today and tomorrow. Linda

I hope you all are staying warm up there! Feel free to send some snow down here, just not the blizzard. :-) We've had very little snow this winter, only 1 snow day in fact.

A few years ago, it snowed on Valentine's Day. I thought it was cool, because it had never snowed on my birthday! I only remember because DH took me out on a date to a steak restaurant and we close to this big window, and we could see the street in front of the restaurant that ended in a hill and met a busy street. It was kind of funny watching all these people try to make it up that hill, only to slide right back down. No accidents thankfully! But us and all the other couples in that area were giggling at the "dinner and a show" thing.

Well, it finally stopped. We got 18-19 inches. DH still out working. Plows still haven't been out our way yet. I'm getting ready to go back to scrapping. I just made the kids some heart shaped red velvet cupcakes.

Muncie tied their record for 3rd highest snowfall on record with 11".

Purdue territory, huh?

Alicia

Oh goodness! At least you are making good with your time :)
