Fleece project idea

Hi all-- I went on a trip over T-day, and found myself sleeping in an outdoor structure (not quite a cabin) in chilly weather in Louisiana. (It doesn't get cold down south there, does it? I packed light. D'oh!) In a Wlaly World I found myself eyeing the fleece pajama sets, but my dang mother kept saying "you could make a cuter set, without raglan sleeves which you hate, and without the silly embroidery." So I didn't buy any. Would be a useful wardrobe addition it made in a style that could serve as a jogging set or loungewear, as well as sleepwear. HTH

I have so been looking for a pattern to make a pair of these. I bought a lovely pair with a drawstring waist and a vest top last Christmas but the drawstring broke so I took them back. They couldn't replace them because they were Christmas stock, but I would LOVE a pair!

in response to me:

Er, I was on a bicycle trip, as was everyone else. Surfing is that activity that's done in the waves, in oceans or lakes, right? Bicycling takes place on the road (or trail). There's a minor sporting event of some note in July in France; that's not quite my type of cycling, but it's closer than surfing. I did find a BMX print at Field's (west Mich, small chain) but I don't ride a BMX bike, either.

karen- being a spuedo-mountain biker (i say psuedo, as i live in southern NJ where it is VERY flat, but ride in the wharton state forest where it is all deep deep sugar sand), i usually just go for the most oboxsious fleece i can find. and, ive learned the hard way, i buy malden mills only.... betsey "we do not inherit the earth, we caretake it for our children"
