I finally wore my 2004 NYCO last night! It is a long, fringed scarf knit out of Eros Glitz. I never thought that I would wear it because I decided that I am not a scarf (or shawl) person. Last night, however, I wanted to wear something different with my crew neck cashmere sweater (rather than pearls or another necklace) and remembered my scarf. So, I wore it. At least it's gotten worn once now. LOL

I think you will wear the shawl more often when you have "started" to use it, and you will soon love it! LOL! I often have things just put away in a closet, because I am not sure I am "the person to wear it". But when I first have used it one or two times, I feel more familiar with it, and I am able to look at it(and myself) a bit differently! AUD ;-))
