Hi, Carey. You can see all about our wonderful Firehouse Angel by going here:

pictures of her progress start here:

see Jere also posted the URL, but not all posts get through, so Ithought I'd tell it again. :-) I've been concerned that we haven't heard anything about the progress since spring, but I knew she was in capable, loving hands. I see by these posts that she's soon getting to the beading stage! WOW!

Oh my God, you really believe that piece of trash helps a stock sell as a solid stock, rather than a one time event?? I would put my money anywhere than with him; even to the nuthouse where you obviously belong.

I abhor your language, but I wouldn't waste any body-waste on you, Victoria. You are one sick person. You truly need to get back on your meds. ( Legal ones I mean).

Wow - the Firehouse Angel is looking wonderful ladies! What a labour of love you have created. I can't wait to see her finished. I noticed that this isn't the only 'gap' in stitching. The soonest update after November

2004 isn't until mid March.

Anxiously await>>

Gack ~ I can see the flames now ;) I should have added my thought to the bottom of "The soonest update after November 2004 isn't until mid March" - which is - it sure hasn't seemed like it's been two years, and regardless of how long it takes (although obviously there has to be a time frame of some sort) - look at what you all created - it's gorgeous.

Thanks, Dianne. She's a beauty so far, AND she going to get beads, too? I will certainly keep checking the site to see more pictures of how it's coming along, and for the finished results.

You know something girl - you are one of the nastiest people ever to be on this group. People have their lives to live and maybe have to squeeze in the stitching between jobs, kids and just plain life - not everyone lives the pampered life that you'd like us all to believe you live. I'm sure everyone involved in that project has done a wonderful job - just as good as anything you think you can do. You jump on here and start pushing your weight around - who do you think you are? All those people volunteered to help in the effort, you've done nothing but complain and find fault. As for your not liking many of us on here, I don't think there's a one of us that will sleep over that thought. If you do disappear again, I for one will not miss you or your snottiness.

Sure. For one thing, we last heard from her in May (May 25th), not March. For another thing, you don't have her email and she appears not to have yours. So why would you (in particular) have heard from her?

You weren't concerned enough about who was working on the project to get email addresses from people (let alone phone numbers) and you put no date on finishing the thing, but now you're upset because it's not done and you haven't heard from the person who has her. I think there's something else going on. Take a deep breath, please, and focus on whatever your issue really is, because I'm sure it's not the Angel.

She'll be done soon and you'll get her back when she's done. I'm not going to rush, or be rushed, but I will finish her, ok?

And this is the polite way you ask us to get something done? Watch it, Victoria. I don't care if you like me or not, but it is up to me to finish the Angel and I won't be ordered or rushed, so don't use her to beat other people over the head with, lest you inadvertantly hit me as well.

Yes, I will post photo's after it is framed and again when it is delivered to the FDNY Headquarters.

You are old and closed minded. Too bad.

This is the best you can do? Gee Gill, I thought you'd have plenty of trash in your arsenal, as you all call it.

I am not old and close-minded, but I wouldn't give Stern any of my money.

I never rushed anyone. I think two years is a bit long in the tooth and I did say over a year ago I'd like to have it by this 9/11. Actually, I wanted it done by last 9/11 but I didn't want to rush. Now it's enough already. I think the FDNY will love it and I'd like it there for this memory on the sad anniversary of the worst event in American history, other than the horrors of slavery.
