Anybody doing any interesting BOM's from online (or stick & brick) quilt stores this year? I'm only involved in one at my local QS and it just doesn't seem right that I don't have 8 or 49 deadlines.
Just curious.

I'm doing one on Carol Doak's yahoo group. They are easy blocks so far and that suits me fine. I'm trying to finish some WIPs and UFOs this year, including BOMs from years past.
well, I am coordinating the BOM at one of my quilt groups. That means selecting a block, colorway, etc. Printing out the block and writing/printing basic instructions for the block. Then making copies to take to the meeting, get a "second" prize, collect and display the incoming blocks at the meeting and do the drawing for the winners of block/prize.
I think that is plenty for me.

Like Mary, I'm doing the one on Carol Doak's Yahoo group, but I'm also doing the one on The Quilt Show, a quilt designed by Sue Garman. It's very intricate. The center medallion is a feathered star.

Sounds like you need to join our "get it done" yahoo group! LOL
I did a few years ago but didn't get any done. LOL
