Well, I almost got to meet Dave. He was passing through Louisiana and we tried to set up a meeting, but it just didn't work out *sigh*. We did talk on the phone. He sounds as great and friendly as he does on the group. It's upsetting that our plans didn't work out. I was really excited about meeting one of my RCS buddies!

Oh, I am so sorry you didn't get to meet Dave. He is such a terrific guy!!! When you do get to meet him he is just wonderful!!! Here's hoping he comes through my neck of the woods sometime soon, I know M-C would love to meet him.

I wish I could! As the saying goes, however, I can't afford to pay attention, much less take a trip anywhere. *sigh*

Dang nab gremlins and Murphy's Law!! Oh well as I told her, there will be another time as the Lord provides!! After all it took me on the third time thru Louisville to finally get to meet Sabrina.
I was sorely disappointed too but for those who know, transportation/logistics and theatrical and stage productions- well those TWO industries themselves are rife for trouble and foul play!! Combine them together and you have - a pure and simple recipe for STRESS, not to mention chaos!
It was nice to talk to her/you on the phone and hopefully now that school has started, your schedule will become a LITTLE more stable and predictable - LOL!

I'm a teacher...nothing's every "stable and predictable"! LOL I just found out today that I'm getting another new student (second since school started), so had to reorganize my classroom to accomodate *another* child! UGH!
