..goes to the victims of the hurricane in Luisiana, Alabama and Missisippi.. and of couse any place they suffer! We follow the tragedy at the news here, and everybody is worried.
It is terribly scaring when things like this happens, and we see it too often!
A friend of mine lives in the disaster zone i start to make her a package of sewing first aid things, thus she might be able to start repairing etc,,, I will send it the moment i have her new adress,,,,maybe everybody coul `adopt` somebody to share some handcraft notions with ,, we all collect so much ... mirjam

Mirjam if she lives in the center of the disaster area, you do best to not mail anything out at the moment. Everything is in shambles down there. The regular mail is not functioning, and your kind thoughts parcel may get totally lost.

I doubt right now if your package would get to your friend. The schools are now closed for at least two months if not longer and most of the relief efforts are being led by the American Red Cross.

Recently saw photographs of him being removed from a Coast Guard boat to safety. He's fine.
